Cable Trolleys

Cable trolleys are auxiliary equipment used for powering mobile machinery. They are mainly used to suspend and pull cables, moving synchronously with the mobile machinery to ensure stable power supply. They come in various specifications and models, mainly divided into three categories: No. 10 I-beam cable trolleys, C-type/H-type cable trolleys, and GHC-Ⅱ type I-beam cable trolleys. Different models have different structures and load adaptability, and are widely used in various industrial scenarios requiring mobile power supply, providing reliable cable guidance and support for mobile machinery.

Product Description

Cable trolleys are cable support and traction devices specifically designed for mobile machinery. Their core function is to ensure that cables are not pulled or worn during operation, achieving stable power supply. Specific details regarding their specifications and structural characteristics are as follows:

01

Core Purpose

Suspending and pulling cables, moving synchronously with mobile machinery to prevent cable pulling and wear due to movement, ensuring stable and safe power supply to mobile machinery (such as cranes, electric flatbed carts, etc.).

02

Specifications and Models

Mainly divided into three categories: No. 10 I-beam cable trolleys, C-type/H-type cable trolleys, and GHC-II type I-beam cable trolleys. Each model is suitable for different tracks and load requirements.

03

No. 10 I-beam Cable Trolleys

Divided into five models: I, II, III, IV, and V. Composed of three parts: traction trolley, cable trolley, and terminal trolley, suitable for No. 10 I-beam tracks.

04

Functions of Each Component of the No. 10 I-beam Cable Trolley

The traction trolley follows the cable guide (traction) device of the moving machinery; one trolley is provided for each moving machine, moving back and forth with it. The intermediate cable trolley suspends the cable within the range of the I-beam track and moves with the traction trolley; both ends are equipped with buffer bumpers. The number of trolleys is determined by the length of movement. The terminal trolley is fixed at the end of the I-beam guide rail; generally, one trolley is provided for each moving machine.

05

C-type and H-type cable trolleys

Based on different track types, these are divided into C-type rail cable trolleys and I(H) type rail cable trolleys, respectively compatible with C-type and H-type (I-type) tracks. Their structure is adapted to the corresponding track specifications to ensure smooth operation.

06

GHC-Ⅱ type I-beam cable trolley

Composed of wheels, brackets, and support plates, its core function is to fix the flexible cable to the support plate. The cable trolley moves synchronously with the traction frame to power the trolley. Based on load, it is available in medium-load, heavy-load, and light-load types to suit different load requirements.

07

Suitable scenarios

Primarily used for various industrial equipment requiring mobile power supply, such as cranes, electric flatcars, and mobile production lines. The appropriate model should be selected based on track type, load size, and travel length.

Product Feature

Diverse Specifications and Models

Covering three main categories: No. 10 I-beams, C-type/H-type, and GHC-II type. The No. 10 I-beams come in 5 models, and the GHC-II type has 3 load types, adaptable to different rails, loads, and travel length requirements.

Rational Structural Design

The No. 10 I-beam cable trolley consists of three parts: traction, intermediate, and terminal, with clear division of labor. The intermediate trolley is equipped with a buffer head to reduce collision damage. The GHC-II type consists of wheels, brackets, and support plates, ensuring secure cable fixation and good synchronous operation.

Strong Rail Adaptability

C-type and H-type cable trolleys are classified according to rail type, precisely adapting to C-type and H-type (I-type) rails; the No. 10 I-beam and GHC-II types are specifically adapted to I-beam rails, ensuring smooth and jam-free operation.

Reliable Power Supply

Can move synchronously with mobile machinery, effectively avoiding cable pulling and wear, ensuring stable power supply to mobile equipment, and reducing equipment downtime due to cable failures. 5. Clear Load Classification: The GHC-Ⅱ type is divided into light, medium, and heavy load types, allowing selection based on actual cable weight and equipment load for more precise adaptability.

Convenient Installation

Each model of cable trolley features a simple structure and modular components, allowing for flexible installation according to track specifications and movement length, adapting to the installation needs of different industrial scenarios.

Wheel Assembly Materials

Main Material Specifications

1. Main Structure (Bracket, Support Plate, Traction Frame): The core is made of high-quality carbon structural steel (mostly Q235B), welded and surface-treated with rust removal and painting for corrosion protection. It possesses high strength and rigidity, stably supporting the cable weight and resisting industrial environmental corrosion.

2. Wheels and Trolley Components: The wheels of the wheels, traction trolley, and terminal trolley are made of forged steel (commonly 65Mn), heat-treated by quenching and tempering, resulting in high hardness and strong wear resistance, ensuring minimal wear during long-term reciprocating operation. The axles are made of high-strength alloy steel, offering strong load-bearing capacity and flexible rotation.

3. Buffer and Protection Components: The buffer bumper of the No. 10 I-beam cable trolley is made of wear-resistant rubber or polyurethane, providing excellent buffering performance and reducing collision damage during trolley operation; the cable tray surface can be fitted with an anti-slip and anti-wear padding layer to protect the cable from scratches.

4. Auxiliary Components: Connectors and fasteners are made of high-strength carbon steel or stainless steel, rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, ensuring a secure connection of all components; C-type and H-type track adapter components use steel matching the track material, ensuring a tight fit and smooth operation.
